Platform overview
What is Skynet Intelligence Systems?
Skynet Intelligence Systems is a marketing intelligence platform for business owners and teams. It brings together reporting from Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, optional Google Ads, PageSpeed Insights, and Ahrefs. Clients can review and compare stored metrics, create custom calculations, build ABDI screens, configure alarms, ask questions through Conversational Analytics, and receive reports and email summaries.
Who is Skynet designed for?
Skynet is designed for business owners and teams who want to understand their marketing without checking several separate reporting systems. A business can report on one or multiple Google Business Profile locations. A login can access multiple business accounts when it has permission to do so.
What can clients do in Skynet?
- Review current and prior metrics, reporting periods, sample dates, and data quality.
- Monitor Google Analytics 4 sessions, engaged sessions, key events, and available traffic-channel reporting.
- Review Google Search Console clicks, impressions, and leading search queries.
- Compare Google Business Profile results across selected locations.
- Optionally report Google Ads performance for one selected advertiser per business.
- Check mobile and desktop PageSpeed performance scores.
- Explore available Ahrefs domain, backlink, keyword, page, competitor, and Site Audit information.
- Chart up to eight stored metrics in Trend and download selected series as CSV.
- Create reusable Calculated Tags from metrics in the same business account.
- Build up to ten shared ABDI screens with metric cards, pie charts, text, and navigation.
- Open ABDI in an expanded full-window overlay and close it without losing the current view or unsaved edits.
- Configure Metric Alarms and choose how often to receive alarm emails.
- Check System Status and collection results.
- Ask Conversational Analytics about business data, marketing, formulas, and how to use Skynet.
- Find relevant customer Help articles linked from AI answers.
- Use Chat with Ryan for a separate, private human-support conversation.
- Read the Weekly digest, receive enabled email reports, and create or download PDF reports.
- Keep shared notes, useful links, and RSS/XML feeds.
- Personalize the dashboard layout and theme, add authorized team members, switch between accessible businesses, and submit feature suggestions.
Available information depends on account connections, permissions, configuration, provider availability, and collection history. Some settings are restricted to the account owner or another authorized manager.
Which data sources feed the Skynet dashboard?
Current reporting sources include Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, optional Google Ads, Google PageSpeed Insights, and Ahrefs. Google connections use official OAuth authorization and APIs rather than scraping. PageSpeed and Ahrefs also require the appropriate service configuration.
Google Ads authorization is optional. Approval of Skynet’s core Google OAuth application does not necessarily establish approval or access for every optional scope. Advertiser permissions, Google Ads API access, and applicable verification requirements also affect availability. Meta and LinkedIn campaign reporting are not part of the current reporting workflow.
Does Skynet modify my ads, website, or Google Business Profile?
No. Skynet uses its current Google integrations for source discovery and reporting. It does not change campaigns, bids, budgets, targeting, billing settings, Business Profiles, posts, or review responses.
Some Google permission descriptions technically allow broader management operations. “Reporting-only” describes how Skynet uses the connected access; it does not mean the OAuth permission itself is technically limited to reading.
Data collection, freshness, and interpretation
How often does Skynet update marketing data?
Normal collection starts daily at 6:00 a.m. America/New_York time. Results appear after collection finishes, subject to provider availability and reporting delays. Skynet is a daily reporting platform, not a real-time visitor monitor.
Does every metric cover the same date range?
No. A sample date tells you when Skynet stored a result, not necessarily the period that result measures. Business Profile performance totals generally cover the seven days ending yesterday. Google Ads reports compare seven completed days with the prior seven, using the advertiser’s reporting context. Ahrefs traffic is an estimate, and PageSpeed scores describe an individual test. Check the displayed reporting window, sample date, currency, and time zone before comparing sources.
Can I request an update before the next scheduled collection?
Yes. Fetch now in User Settings queues a collection job and has a 24-hour cooldown. Requesting a fetch does not guarantee a new measurement from every provider; source delays, permissions, provider caching, and service availability still apply. Ahrefs reuses its same-day collection rather than repeatedly requesting paid data.
Can Skynet show data from before my account was connected?
Supported sources offer a 30-day backfill, subject to the history available from each provider. Backfill does not manufacture historical data. PageSpeed backfill supplies a current measurement rather than a historical series, and Ahrefs history builds as snapshots are collected.
Google Ads backfill creates rolling seven-day snapshots with prior-period comparisons. These windows overlap, so do not add them together as separate daily totals. Backfill does not automatically recalculate historical Calculated Tag results.
What do “not stored,” “not fetched yet,” or “missing” mean?
These labels mean Skynet does not have a usable value for that metric or period. Possible reasons include a missing connection, an unselected property, unavailable provider data, or a collection error. Missing data is not a measured zero and should not be interpreted as zero performance.
How can I tell whether a data connection is working?
The Collector runs panel shows recent source results and available status or error details. An “ok” result indicates a successful run; “partial” or “error” needs closer inspection. Raw tags show sample dates and quality so you can distinguish recent usable measurements from missing data.
What does the System Status bar show?
System Status shows indicators for collection, sessions, engaged sessions, clicks, Business Profile, and the Google connection. Hover over an indicator to see its explanation. The colors provide a quick status check; they are not a complete assessment of every source or a guarantee of marketing success. A red metric indicator can reflect a real performance decline, not necessarily a broken connection.
Website traffic and Google Search
What Google Analytics 4 metrics can I see in Skynet?
Skynet reports sessions, engaged sessions, key events, and available traffic-channel data from the selected GA4 property. Available information depends on the property and its configuration.
What is the difference between sessions, engaged sessions, and key events?
Sessions describe website visits as reported by GA4. Engaged sessions identify visits that meet GA4’s engagement criteria. Key events are events configured and reported by the selected property. They do not automatically mean sales or revenue; their meaning depends on how the business has configured GA4.
Why might my conversion or key-event data be unavailable?
The selected property may not have been collected, may not provide the configured events, or may not have usable data for the period. Skynet reports the information it receives; it does not set up website tracking. Confirm the selected property and event configuration before treating missing events as zero leads or sales.
What does Google Search Console show in Skynet?
Skynet shows clicks, impressions, and leading queries for the selected property and country setting. Clicks are visits from Google Search results; impressions are appearances in those results. They are not the same as all website sessions.
Can I see which searches help people find my business?
Yes. The Top Search Console queries panel shows up to ten queries ranked by impressions for the collected period, with clicks and impressions. Daily emails include up to five stored queries, and PDFs include up to ten. These are bounded lists, not complete exports of every query.
Can I choose the website property and country used for reporting?
Authorized users can select a Search Console property and country, plus a GA4 account and property, under User Settings. Available choices depend on the connected Google account’s permissions. Changing Skynet’s selection does not grant access to a property the Google account cannot use.
Google Ads reporting
Does Skynet report Google Ads performance?
Yes. Google Ads reporting is optional. When authorized and configured, Skynet discovers accessible advertisers and collects reports for one advertiser selected for each Skynet business.
What Google Ads metrics can I see?
Available reporting includes impressions, clicks, cost, conversions, and conversion value. Skynet can calculate related ratios such as click-through rate, average cost per click, cost per conversion, and return on ad spend when the required inputs are available.
How do I connect Google Ads?
In the business’s Google connection settings, select Include Google Ads reporting and choose Connect / reconnect Google. After authorization, load accessible advertisers, select one, and save it. Use a Google account that has access to the desired advertiser.
An existing Ads-authorized connection or saved advertiser may keep the checkbox selected and locked to preserve the existing authorization. Ads access also depends on Google Ads API access, advertiser permissions, and applicable OAuth scope requirements.
Is Google Ads authorization required?
No. Google Ads is optional. Other supported Google reporting sources can be connected without selecting the optional Ads reporting permission.
What date range does Google Ads use?
The normal report compares seven completed days with the preceding seven, using the advertiser’s reporting context. Check the displayed dates, currency, and time zone.
Can I backfill Google Ads history?
Supported 30-day backfill creates rolling seven-day snapshots with prior-seven-day comparisons. The windows overlap; do not sum them as separate daily spend or conversion totals.
Can I switch the selected advertiser later?
After Ads history has been stored, Skynet restricts switching to a different advertiser to avoid mixing histories. Use a separate Skynet business account for a different advertiser.
Are Ads clicks the same as GA4 sessions?
No. Ads clicks and GA4 sessions measure different activity and can use different reporting and attribution rules. Ads conversions are also different from GA4 key events. Conversion value is not necessarily received revenue, and cost per conversion is not automatically customer acquisition cost.
Google Business Profile and multiple locations
What Google Business Profile metrics does Skynet report?
Skynet reports profile views, calls, website clicks, and direction requests. When available, it also reports review count, average rating, recent post count, and a name-address-phone consistency result. Performance totals and review or post measurements can have different reporting dates.
Does Skynet support businesses with multiple locations?
Yes. Skynet combines performance across selected locations and also shows individual results in the Summary panel. Location names and address information appear alongside available views, calls, website clicks, direction requests, reviews, ratings, and recent posts.
Are Business Profile totals combined across selected locations?
Account-level Business Profile tags combine selected locations where data is available. The combined rating is weighted by review count rather than calculated as a simple average of location ratings.
Can I compare individual locations without changing the combined reporting tags?
Yes. The Business Profile locations table shows individual results while the combined account tags remain stable. Individual results are included in daily emails and PDFs when stored, and the Weekly digest adds location-level lines when more than one location is reported.
How do I add or remove Google Business Profile locations?
Use Google Business Profile locations in User Settings for the current account. Skynet accepts supported location identifiers, including location resource names, numeric location IDs, and Google place IDs. The connected Google account must already have access to each location.
What happens if I do not save a location list?
With no saved list, Skynet attempts to match available locations using the website and then the business name. With a nonempty saved list, Skynet uses those saved locations.
Will location reporting update when locations are added or removed?
The stored location summary refreshes during collection. Adding a location does not instantly fetch its metrics or grant Google access; review the location table after collection completes.
What happens if Google no longer returns a saved location?
Skynet skips the unavailable saved ID, continues collecting other found locations, and marks the result partial. The location summary and digest identify saved IDs that could not be found. Missing values are not silently counted as zero.
Does Skynet show Business Profile search counts?
No. The current Business Profile Performance integration does not supply a daily search-count series. Skynet reports supported views and interactions rather than inventing a search count. Profile views are not search counts or unique people.
What does the NAP result mean?
NAP means name, address, and phone. Skynet compares returned Business Profile details with the account’s saved business expectations when enough information is available. It is not a web-wide directory or citation audit, and it does not automatically correct a listing. Incomplete comparisons are marked missing.
PageSpeed and domain intelligence
Does Skynet monitor website speed?
Skynet collects Google PageSpeed Insights performance scores for the account’s primary website URL on mobile and desktop. Scores range from 0 to 100 and can be followed over time once measurements are stored. These are performance test scores, not uptime monitoring or a complete technical SEO audit.
What is the Detailed Domain Data tool?
Detailed Domain Data presents stored Ahrefs information about the business’s domain and subdomains. Depending on configuration and available endpoints, it can include domain strength, backlinks, search estimates, selected keywords, leading pages, organic competitors, and Site Audit health information.
Which Ahrefs metrics can clients review?
Depending on endpoint availability and API permissions, Skynet can collect:
- Domain Rating and Ahrefs Rank.
- Estimated monthly organic and paid traffic.
- Organic and paid keyword counts, top-three keyword counts, and paid-ad counts.
- Estimated organic traffic value and paid traffic cost.
- Backlink and referring-domain counts, with dofollow and nofollow splits.
- Up to ten organic keywords with position, volume, and estimated traffic.
- Up to ten leading pages with traffic estimates and keyword counts.
- Up to ten organic competitors with keyword overlap and Domain Rating.
- Accessible Site Audit project health, crawled URLs, and counts of URLs with errors, warnings, and notices.
Unavailable endpoints are shown as unavailable rather than represented as zero.
Is Ahrefs traffic the same as my actual website traffic?
No. Ahrefs traffic is an estimated monthly search-traffic figure. GA4 sessions are measured website activity from the selected analytics property. The sources use different methods and are not interchangeable visitor counts.
Does a backlink increase mean that many new links were acquired?
Not necessarily. Skynet’s backlink change is the net difference between stored snapshots. A net increase can include both gained and lost links; it is not a gross count of newly acquired links or a complete lost-link report.
Does Skynet launch a new website audit when I open Detailed Domain Data?
No. Skynet reads accessible health information from the latest matching Ahrefs Site Audit project. Opening the dashboard, chat, report, or export does not launch a new crawl or refresh Ahrefs data. The audit date may be older than the domain snapshot.
Can I see and download domain history?
Yes. Detailed Domain Data shows available changes, trend graphics, and a 30-day history view. Clients can download the stored snapshot as CSV or JSON, and available domain data can be included in PDFs. The download is Skynet’s bounded snapshot, not every record in Ahrefs.
Trends, summaries, and weekly guidance
What does the Summary tool show?
Summary presents key metrics with current and prior values, reporting windows, and data quality. It also includes the individual Business Profile location table when location data exists.
What is a tag in Skynet?
A tag is a stable identifier for a stored metric. Raw tags show the identifier, description, current and prior values, quality, and sample date. Use the descriptions to identify metrics and drag them into Trend.
Can I build my own comparison chart?
Yes. Drag metrics from Raw tags into Trend to display up to eight series. The chart supports 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, 6 months, 1 year, and 2 years, subject to available stored history. Trend selections are saved for the individual user.
Can I export the chart data?
Yes. Download CSV in Trend exports the selected series for the chosen range. A longer range does not backfill data Skynet has never collected.
What are Calculated Tags?
Calculated Tags are reusable metrics created from supported formulas and metrics in the same business account. Each has a description, alias, formula, and calculation status.
How do I create a Calculated Tag?
Open Calculated Tags, enter a description, select input aliases from the active business, and build a supported formula. Validate it, review the inputs and meaning, and save it.
Where can I use a Calculated Tag?
Calculated Tags can be used in supported Trend charts, ABDI screens, alarms, reports, and Conversational Analytics.
Can Conversational Analytics suggest a formula?
Yes. It can explain existing calculations and suggest formulas based on aliases available in the active business. Suggestions are checked by the account-bound formula validator. You review and save the formula yourself; the AI does not create or change tags.
Does formula validation guarantee a meaningful result?
No. Validation checks supported syntax and inputs and may reject known incompatible reporting periods or currencies. You still need to check units, dates, missing inputs, and business meaning. Missing values are not treated as zero, and a zero denominator can prevent a result.
Does backfill recalculate historical Calculated Tag values?
No. Source backfill does not automatically reconstruct historical Calculated Tag results.
What is the Weekly digest?
The Weekly digest combines a written explanation of what happened with source-specific reviews and practical guidance supported by stored data. It may cover GA4, Search Console, Business Profile, PageSpeed, and Ahrefs information where available.
When is the Weekly digest generated?
Skynet generates the digest automatically on Sunday night. Clients can also request the current week’s memo early through Generate digest in User Settings, subject to its 24-hour cooldown. The digest uses stored data; it is not a substitute for collecting new measurements.
Will Skynet always recommend three marketing actions?
No. Skynet may provide fewer actions or none when the stored evidence does not support more. Recommendations are guidance to evaluate, not a guarantee of leads, rankings, or revenue.
Can I read previous weekly reports?
Yes. Digest history shows previous summaries and expandable strategy memos. Clients can export digest history as CSV.
ABDI, Alarms, and system tags
What is ABDI?
ABDI (Advanced Business Data Interface) is a shared visual diagram of your business. Place metric cards, pie charts, text, and navigation buttons around the central business/server display. Animated data-flow lines connect metric cards to the center. Each business can have up to ten shared screens, numbered 1000 to 1009.
Who can change ABDI screens?
The account owner and authorized admins can select Edit, move or add items, and Save. Everyone with account access can view the screens. Outside Edit mode, a screen is locked against accidental movement.
How do I open ABDI in an expanded view?
Select Expand in the ABDI toolbar. The same diagram and toolbar open in a full-window overlay. Use Close full screen or press Escape to return. This does not open a new tab or require the browser’s native fullscreen permission.
The overlay preserves the current view and unsaved edits; it does not save them. Use Save to keep changes. Phone and tablet views adapt to screen size and rotation; small touch devices remain view-only, with zoom and pan controls.
Why did a tag card change color?
The card color compares the newest stored sample with the prior stored sample: green means it went up, yellow means unchanged, and red means it went down. A downward change is not automatically bad; for example, lower costs or fewer complaints might be favorable.
Can I print or export an ABDI screen?
Yes. Print / Export can save the screen as PDF, PNG, JPG, or SVG.
Can I use ABDI on my phone or tablet?
Yes, in view-only mode. Pinch to zoom, drag to pan, double-tap to zoom in or fit the whole screen, or use Fit. Expand opens the responsive full-window overlay. Landscape usually provides more room for the diagram. Build and edit screens using a supported desktop or laptop browser.
What are the S001 system tags?
System tags describe the Skynet server: CPU usage, memory used in GB, and load. They appear inside the ABDI server block, refresh more frequently than daily business metrics, and are the same for every account.
How do Metric Alarms work?
An owner or authorized admin builds a rule from a tag, an operator (greater than, less than, or equal to), a comparison (the previous stored daily sample or the historical mean of available history up to two years), and a frequency (daily, weekly, or monthly). When a rule matches, Skynet adds a color-coded entry to the Alarm list and emails opted-in recipients. If nothing triggers, no alarm email is sent.
How long is alarm history kept?
The Alarm list keeps 30 days. Older entries are removed automatically.
Can I get alarm emails less often than my colleagues?
Yes. Each person opts in and chooses their own frequency: daily, weekly, or monthly. Authorized managers can change or remove recipients but cannot opt someone in on their behalf.
What is the Access Alarm?
The Access Alarm monitors collection and Google access. After the scheduled collection, it can notify the account owner when a source stops storing data or Google access is lost. It is separate from the Metric Alarms you configure.
Conversational Analytics and human support
What is Conversational Analytics?
Conversational Analytics is Skynet’s AI assistant for asking plain-language questions about your business’s stored marketing information. It can explain measurements, compare available periods, discuss general marketing and SEO, explain Calculated Tags, suggest validated formulas, and answer product questions using relevant customer Help articles.
What account information can Conversational Analytics use?
The assistant receives a bounded selection of current and prior metrics, available daily history, Search Console queries, Business Profile location results, Ahrefs information, digest reviews, collection status, relevant conversation context, and selected customer Help excerpts. It does not have unlimited access to every historical record or live access to each provider.
Can it help me learn how to use Skynet?
Yes. Ask how to connect Google Ads, create a Calculated Tag, or use a platform feature. When relevant, Conversational Analytics uses customer Help excerpts and includes links to the full articles.
Help documentation is guidance, not proof that your account is configured correctly or that a connection collected successfully. Admin-only Help content is never included, including when an administrator uses Conversational Analytics.
What are useful questions to ask Conversational Analytics?
- “How did our sessions and engaged sessions change from the prior period?”
- “How do our Google Ads clicks compare with GA4 Paid Search sessions?”
- “Which stored search queries have impressions but relatively few clicks?”
- “Compare calls and direction requests across our business locations.”
- “Explain our Domain Rating and estimated organic traffic in plain English.”
- “Explain this Calculated Tag and its inputs.”
- “How do I create a Calculated Tag?”
- “Which source has missing or stale data?”
- “Based on the stored data, what should we review next?”
Answers depend on the information collected for the active business.
Can the AI fetch new data, change my settings, or contact Ryan for me?
No. Conversational Analytics answers from the supplied context; it does not run a new provider collection, change settings, edit websites or connected accounts, or send a message to Ryan. You perform those actions through the application controls.
Can Conversational Analytics read my Chat with Ryan messages?
No. Private human-support messages are separate from Conversational Analytics and are not included in its context or sent to xAI as part of those AI requests.
Who can see the Conversational Analytics conversation?
AI conversation history is shared within the relevant business account and can be seen by users with access to that account. Do not enter information you do not want those users to see.
Is there a chat usage limit, and can I export the conversation?
Conversational Analytics shows the account’s remaining daily allowance. The default is 15 questions per business account per day, shared by its users, but limits can vary by account configuration. Product-help questions use the same allowance. Available AI conversation history can be exported as CSV.
How long are AI conversations kept?
Conversational Analytics messages are subject to scheduled cleanup after 90 days. Export anything you want to keep.
What is Chat with Ryan?
Chat with Ryan is a separate page for private, asynchronous human support. It is not Conversational Analytics and does not require a Slack account. You can send a message, return to the saved conversation, and optionally receive an email when Ryan replies.
Who can see my human-support conversation?
The conversation is private to the participating user and the designated support responder. It is not automatically shared with teammates or every administrator. Access also depends on your continuing authorized access to the business.
Will Ryan reply immediately?
Not necessarily. Chat is asynchronous; Ryan responds when available. It does not promise instant responses or a specific response time.
Can I receive email when Ryan replies?
Yes. Use the email-notification preference in the conversation. Email notices link back to the authenticated conversation and do not include the message body.
Are Chat with Ryan messages deleted after 90 days?
No. Human-support messages do not use Conversational Analytics’ automatic 90-day cleanup. They are retained as ongoing support history unless removed through an authorized account or data-deletion process, subject to applicable retention exceptions and backups. Resolving a thread changes its status; it does not delete messages.
What should I avoid sending in either chat?
Do not send passwords, OAuth tokens, payment card numbers, or unnecessary sensitive personal information.
Daily emails and PDF reports
What is included in the daily email?
The daily email summarizes available stored GA4, Search Console, Business Profile, and PageSpeed metrics with prior values and dates. It can also include Business Profile results by location, up to five leading Search Console queries, an Ahrefs summary, and collection failures. Unavailable measurements are labeled rather than invented. Google Ads data may be included where supported and available.
Can I receive the Weekly digest by email?
Yes. Weekly digest email is configured separately in User Settings. Turning daily email off does not automatically turn weekly email off, and turning weekly email off does not stop the dashboard digest from being generated. Reports are sent to the account’s configured recipients.
Can I attach a PDF to the daily email?
Yes. An authorized account manager can enable Attach PDF report to daily email in User Settings. Daily email must also be enabled, and at least one recipient must be configured. The attachment setting is off by default.
What is included in a PDF report?
PDFs can include the account name, generation time, key metrics with prior values and dates, available Business Profile location results, leading Search Console queries, weekly source-review information, and a bounded Ahrefs snapshot. A PDF is a stored-data report, not a verbatim copy of every dashboard panel or AI conversation.
Can I choose extra PDF sections?
Yes. Authorized account managers can select available sections such as Links, RSS/XML feed URLs, Raw tag codes, Collector runs, Notepad, and Next suggestions. Optional sections appear when selected and when data is available.
How many PDFs can I create, and how long are they available?
Each account can manually create up to five PDFs per day and 60 in a rolling 30-day period. The daily allowance resets at midnight America/New_York. Automatic daily attachments and scheduled weekly PDFs do not use the manual allowance. Reports remain downloadable for 30 days.
Client workspace and collaboration
Can my team share notes inside Skynet?
Yes. Notepad is one shared note for everyone on the account. It supports basic formatting, alignment, printing, and RTF export. Saving replaces the shared note. It is not a threaded discussion or versioned project-management system.
Can I keep useful links and news feeds on the dashboard?
Yes. User Settings lets clients maintain links with text, clickable URLs, and blank separators, plus RSS/XML feed URLs. The dashboard presents these alongside reporting tools.
Can I personalize the dashboard?
Yes. Clients can edit the dashboard layout, move panels, adjust column widths, collapse or hide tools, restore hidden tools, and reset the layout. The interface also offers theme selection. User Settings includes business branding options such as a logo, display name, and slogan.
Can a business owner add team members?
The account owner can add users through User Settings, and authorized managers can manage memberships. Access depends on each user’s role and enabled membership. Not every member can change connections, recipients, or other account-wide settings. Adding a teammate does not automatically grant access to unrelated business accounts.
Can I use one login for multiple business accounts?
Yes, if your login has access to more than one account. Use Switch account to choose the business you want to review. Check the active account before changing settings, exporting information, or asking account-specific questions.
What are Custom tools and the App page?
Custom tools provides access to tools registered for the current account. The App page presents shared tools made available across active accounts. Availability depends on what has been installed and enabled; clients do not upload or build arbitrary Python tools through the dashboard.
Can clients suggest new features?
Yes. The Next panel lets clients submit a title and details, view their account’s suggestions and statuses, and follow a feature-voting link when a vote is open. A suggestion is feedback, not a commitment that a feature will be delivered.
Access, practical limits, and getting started
How do clients access Skynet and manage passwords?
Clients sign in with an existing account; public self-service registration is not available. Forgot password requests a one-time reset link for an existing login, and User Settings provides Change password. Dashboard access also depends on the business account’s subscription, trial, or granted access. The built-in Help center, under Help in the top menu, explains the tools in plain language with screenshots and search.
What does Skynet not do automatically?
Skynet reports, explains, and organizes marketing information. Its current client tools do not automatically edit websites, publish Business Profile posts, respond to reviews, run advertising campaigns, perform a new Ahrefs crawl, or guarantee marketing outcomes. A reported issue or suggested action still needs a person or an appropriate external tool to implement the change. Alarms notify people; they do not take action in your accounts.
Does using Skynet automatically make my website GEO-friendly?
No. Generative engine optimization (GEO) is the practice of making content easier for AI-powered search and answer systems to understand and reference. Skynet can help clients understand their available marketing evidence, but it does not provide a dedicated AI-answer citation tracker or guarantee inclusion in AI-generated answers.
What is the best way to start using Skynet?
Confirm the active business, website, Google connection, selected GA4 and Search Console properties, and Business Profile locations. If you use Google Ads, confirm that the optional access is authorized and an advertiser is selected. After collection finishes, review Summary and Collector runs, then use Trend and Conversational Analytics to explore changes. Create a Calculated Tag for a metric you want to track, build an ABDI screen for the numbers you watch most, and configure Metric Alarms. Finally, ask an authorized account manager to confirm recipients, email preferences, and PDF options.
