About

The Platform and the individual behind it

About Skynet Intelligence Systems

Your business has a story to tell. The numbers should help you understand it.

Skynet Intelligence Systems is a marketing intelligence platform built on industrial control principles. It brings together website traffic, search visibility, local business performance, website performance scores, and domain intelligence, then treats every number the way a control room treats a process measurement: tagged, stored, trended, displayed, and watched by alarms. You spend less time moving between reporting tools and more time deciding what to do next.

You do not need to become an analytics expert to take an active role in your marketing. You need understandable information, an honest explanation of what it means, and a way to ask questions when something does not make sense.

That is the purpose of Skynet.

What can Skynet help you understand?

Are people finding your website? Are those visits becoming meaningful engagement? How does paid traffic compare with organic traffic? What are your ads costing, and what results does the advertising platform report? How are your business locations performing individually?

Just as important: Are the numbers current? Are the reporting periods comparable? Is any information missing?

Skynet gives those questions a place to start. The platform brings together Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, optional Google Ads reporting, Google PageSpeed Insights, and Ahrefs domain intelligence.

Calculated Tags let you build your own metrics from information already stored for your business. Trends, visual screens, alarms, reports, and AI explanations help turn those measurements into a practical daily workspace.

Available results depend on your connected accounts, permissions, and collected data. Normal collection begins once per day at 6:00 a.m. Eastern, so Skynet is a daily decision-making platform rather than a real-time visitor monitor.

Whether you handle your own marketing or work with an agency, the goal is the same: understand the evidence well enough to make better-informed decisions.

Your marketing, without the guesswork

Website traffic and engagement

See sessions, engaged sessions, and available conversion data from Google Analytics 4. Compare stored current and prior results instead of looking at a number without knowing whether it represents progress. Conversion reporting depends on the events configured in your Google Analytics property; a conversion is not automatically a sale.

Visibility in Google Search

Review clicks, impressions, and leading search queries from Google Search Console. Understand which searches are giving your business exposure and which are bringing people to your website. Your selected property and country setting give the results their context.

Google Business Profile performance

Review profile views, calls, website clicks, and direction requests. Available review counts, ratings, and recent post counts add another view of your local presence. These interactions are useful signals, but they should not be confused with completed sales or confirmed appointments.

One business location or several

Keep the combined picture of your business while seeing individual location results in the Summary tool. Location names and address information sit alongside each office’s available metrics. As your saved location list changes, location reporting updates with collection. If Google cannot return a saved location, Skynet identifies it rather than quietly treating it as zero activity.

Mobile and desktop website performance

Track PageSpeed Insights performance scores for your primary website URL on mobile and desktop. Stored measurements help you follow changes over time. A performance score is one piece of the picture, not a complete website audit or a promise of search rankings.

Detailed domain data

Explore available Ahrefs information about your domain strength, backlinks, referring domains, keyword positions, leading pages, and organic competitors. Accessible Site Audit health information provides additional context when available. The platform distinguishes Ahrefs traffic estimates from measured website activity and shows the dates associated with the information.

Google Ads and paid-versus-organic performance

Connect optional Google Ads access and select one advertiser for each Skynet business. Review available impressions, clicks, advertising cost, conversions, conversion value, and reporting ratios alongside your other marketing information.

GA4 channel reporting adds another perspective: what happened on your website after traffic arrived. Ads clicks and website sessions are different measurements, and reported conversion value is not automatically received revenue or profit.

Skynet keeps those distinctions visible rather than presenting every source as if it measures the same thing.

Calculated metrics for your business

Not every useful business question has a ready-made metric.

Calculated Tags let you combine supported stored account metrics into a reusable calculation. For example, you might calculate the percentage of sessions attributed to Paid Search using compatible inputs from your business.

The formula builder validates supported expressions and account-specific inputs. Conversational Analytics can explain a calculation or suggest a formula, but you review and save it yourself.

Validation helps catch formula problems; it does not replace checking reporting periods, units, and business meaning.

Ask questions in your own words

Sometimes the most useful tool is the ability to ask a direct question.

Conversational Analytics combines relevant stored account information, general marketing and SEO knowledge, and selected customer Help instructions.

Ask questions such as:

  • “How did our website sessions change from the prior period?”
  • “How do our Google Ads clicks compare with GA4 Paid Search sessions?”
  • “Explain this calculated metric and its inputs.”
  • “How do I connect Google Ads or create a Calculated Tag?”

Skynet uses Grok from xAI with supplied context and maintained instructions. It is instructed to identify dates, distinguish evidence from possible explanations, and acknowledge missing information.

For product questions, relevant Help articles are linked so you can open the full instructions.

The assistant does not browse your website live, fetch fresh provider data during the conversation, change settings, or manage advertising. AI answers and formula suggestions still need review.

Conversational Analytics is shared within the business account. It does not read private Chat with Ryan messages or receive admin-only Help content.

A direct connection to the creator

When you want a person rather than AI, open Chat with Ryan.

This separate page provides a private, saved conversation between you and the designated support responder for the business you are discussing. Leave a question, return to the thread, and choose whether to receive an email when Ryan replies.

It is asynchronous human support: Ryan responds when available, not through a promise of instant or around-the-clock replies.

Support questions and feature suggestions help inform the platform’s direction. They are not a guarantee that every requested custom tool will be developed.

See the change, not just the number

The Summary tool puts key results and prior values together with their reporting windows and data quality. The Trend tool lets you compare up to eight stored metrics across selectable time ranges, with CSV downloads for further review.

If you want to inspect the underlying measurements, Raw tags shows metric descriptions, values, quality, and sample dates. Collector runs shows whether a source collected successfully or encountered a problem.

You should not have to wonder whether a quiet chart means a quiet week or a connection that stopped working.

From the control room to your business

In a plant, nobody reads a spreadsheet to find out whether a pump has stopped. Operators watch live process graphics and rely on alarms to flag what changed. Skynet brings that same approach to your marketing.

ABDI: Advanced Business Data Interface

ABDI turns your stored business metrics into a visual display. Your company sits at the center, surrounded by metric cards, pie charts, text, and navigation buttons.

Animated data-flow lines connect the cards to your business. Direction colors show whether a stored value rose, stayed the same, or fell; they do not automatically mean good or bad performance.

Build up to ten shared screens per business. Managers edit on supported desktop browsers, while the team can view the screens.

Select Expand to open the same diagram and toolbar in a full-window overlay. Close full screen or press Escape to return without resetting your current edits or view. Phone and small-tablet viewing supports zoom and pan, and the overlay adapts to portrait and landscape.

Print or export screens as PDF, PNG, JPG, or SVG for meetings and reports. The graphics stay active, but underlying marketing measurements follow their collection schedule rather than updating in real time.

Metric alarms

Choose a metric, a condition, and a comparison: the prior stored daily sample or the average of available history, up to two years. Skynet checks the rule daily, weekly, or monthly. Triggered alarms are recorded in a color-coded list and sent in a combined email to everyone who has opted in, at each person’s chosen frequency.

The Access Alarm

Skynet also supervises its own data collection. If a source stops storing data or Google access is lost, the account owner is notified automatically. A quiet screen should never be confused with a quiet week.

This is IT/OT convergence: the reliability of operational technology combined with the reach of modern cloud data and AI.

Reports that help you have better conversations

The Weekly digest explains what happened and presents practical marketing advice supported by stored information. Source reviews help you understand the evidence behind the summary. When the available data does not support another recommendation, the platform is designed to say so rather than fill the space.

Daily email summaries bring available source results, prior values, reporting dates, individual location information, leading search queries, an Ahrefs summary, and collection failures to the account’s configured recipients.

PDF reports provide a downloadable record of available numbers, location results, query information, source reviews, and domain data. Authorized account managers can choose additional sections such as notes, links, and collection results. Daily PDF attachments and weekly digest emails have separate settings so the account can choose what it receives.

Digest history, chart exports, domain-data downloads, and conversation exports make it easier to revisit the information or discuss it with a colleague or marketing agency.

A workspace you can make your own

Skynet is not only a place to read reports.

Keep a shared account Notepad for observations, questions, and next steps. Maintain useful links and RSS feeds. Adjust the dashboard layout, move or hide tools, and choose a theme that works for you.

Build shared ABDI screens for your team, set up alarm rules that watch the numbers you care about, and find answers fast in the built-in, searchable Help center.

Account owners can add team members, and users with access to multiple businesses can switch between those accounts. Additional registered tools may be available for a particular account or through the shared App page.

The Next tool gives clients a place to suggest improvements and participate when a feature vote is open. Your feedback can help shape the direction of the platform. A suggestion is an opportunity to influence the roadmap, not a guarantee of individual custom development.

What integrity means here

Integrity should be something you can recognize in how the information is presented.

  • A measured result should be identified as a measured result.
  • An estimate should be identified as an estimate.
  • A reporting period should be visible.
  • Missing information should not become an invented zero.
  • A recommendation should have evidence behind it.

Different sources measure different things. Google Analytics sessions, Google Search impressions, Business Profile views, and Ahrefs traffic estimates are not interchangeable. Skynet brings them together without pretending they all answer the same question.

Skynet uses official Google OAuth and provider APIs rather than scraping. Its current reporting sources include Analytics, Search Console, Business Profile, optional Google Ads, PageSpeed, and Ahrefs.

Some Google permissions technically allow account-management operations, but Skynet uses its current Google integrations for discovery and reporting. It does not change campaigns, budgets, profiles, posts, or review responses.

Skynet’s Google OAuth application has completed verification for its core Google connections and the optional Google Ads reporting permission.

Ahrefs paid-search estimates and connected Google Ads reporting are distinct sources with different meanings.

Skynet does not promise guaranteed rankings, leads, revenue, or inclusion in AI-generated answers. It is built to help you understand the available evidence and make better-informed decisions.

Why an industrial automation background matters

In industrial automation, a screen is only useful if it helps someone understand the system behind it. The operator needs to know what is happening, whether the measurement can be trusted, and what needs attention.

Skynet is built the same way. Every metric is a tag with a quality flag and a sample date. History is kept like a data historian. ABDI screens follow the logic of process graphics, and alarms follow the logic of a control room: configured deliberately, color-coded, recorded, and delivered to the right people.

The technical work happens behind the scenes. The client receives clarity: trustworthy measurements, visible problems, useful comparisons, and explanations that connect the information to the business.

Ryan’s background in automation, leadership, information technology, and marketing is the foundation of that approach. His original story follows.

Ryan Duke

Who

Ryan Duke, CEO of Skynet Intelligence Systems, has an extensive background in a few key areas the led to the creation of this platform.  For the past 30 years, Ryan has worked in the field of Industrial Automation.  This is also known as OT – Operational Technology.  Throughout the years, OT has converged with IT – Information Technology.  Ryan was fortunate enough to work for organizations that allowed him the opportunity to grow – and grow he did.  10 years after graduating from New River Community College with an AAS in Instrumentation Technology (honor graduate), Ryan decided to go back to college and pursue a Bachelors of Science in Business Education from East Carolina University in Information Technologies.  This was a long road to walk working full-time, raising a family, and spending every free moment with his wife.  This time was very intense, but it was time well spent.  Ryan graduated in 2013 with honors.  Soon after, Ryan was promoted into a Department Manager position where he became responsible for managing all of this former co-workers – including the man who hired him (may your rest in peace, Fred Cox – thank you for hiring me, mentoring me, and helping to launch my career…) became his employee.  It didn’t take long for Ryan to realize that his technical skillset was meaningless when it came to managing a department (38 people).  Ryan jumped back into college once again – this time at Excelsior University.  In just over a year, Ryan graduated with a Master of Science in Management (with a focus in Leadership) with a 4.0 average.  This educational journey, combined with the real-world experiences, completely changed Ryan and molded him into the person he is today.  Outside of work, Ryan has been a computer geek since Windows 95 was released.  He has been a PC gamer since that time, but admittedly doesn’t have as much time for that these days, but he will still occasionally takes some time to disconnect and play his favorite game of all time – EA’s Battlefield 2 (on a server within his home).  This hobby spilled over into Ryan’s career; for those of you who don’t know, PC gamers are not just people who play “games”, they are PC builders, troubleshooters, and love building their machines as much as they do watching them in action.  Yes – there is a water cooled, LED filled, custom built hot rod PC sitting on Ryan’s desk.

How Ryan thinks (this is hard to explain – but it is how Skynet Intelligence Systems was conceived and created…):

Until about 10 years ago, during a staff meeting where Ryan posed this question to his staff at that time, he thought that everyone’s mind works as his does.  Ryan can think and see complex systems in real-time, 3D, full color, and has full control over those items.  For example, another one of Ryan’s hobbies is his 1970 hot rod Chevrolet Monte Carlo.  Ryan has been building cars and trucks since he was 15 – a hobby that he picked up from his father, Roy Duke, who is a former hot-rodder himself.  Back to the topic – Ryan knows the internals and the function of every single piece of a small block Chevrolet engine.  When he is tuning, building, planing, customizing, etc. – he can see the engine in his “minds eye” in real time, 3D, full color, running, not running, and he can view it like an exploded diagram and see each part and how it interacts with the rest.  This same type of thinking is applied across everything that Ryan works on.  He is also a guitar player (since he was 17) and an accomplished carpenter (home projects galore!).  This ability is why Ryan is able to create complex control logic, build HMI diagrams, and was able to conceive and build a platform like Skynet Intelligence Systems.  Hard to explain, but I hope you can grasp what is stated.

What

This platform is intended for business owners who are actively engaged in keeping track of their business performance.  After spending a good bit of time performing Marketing Consulting, it became apparent, that there is a need for a platform like this, but one that allows the subscribers to regularly interact with the creator and to be able to suggest updates, new tools, etc. – all of this is included in your subscription!  The goal is to continually refine this to make it the one-stop-shop for business owners – this is the place where they start their day – checking into what happened the day before and making plans to capitalize on this amazing information.  If they have hired a Marketing Agency, the business owner can share the advice that is received here to make sure that every dollar spent on marketing goes to the right place.

When

The platform is live, and Founders Group applications are open. Visit the Founders Group page for current availability and application details.

Where

Right here.

How

This platform was built using 30 years of every good idea that Ryan has come across (the back end of this platform is extremely complex).  He has extensive experience with DCS – Distributed Control Systems, PLC – Programmable Logic Controllers, and SCADA – Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition systems.  He has also gained an extensive set of IT skills stemming from his hobby, his job, and his business ventures.  As you are well aware, another tool has entered the arena – AI – Artificial Intelligence (also referred to as Super Intelligence by some).  This platform fully leverages AI – specifically Grok from xAI.  This platform has several tools that are in regular communication with Grok to deliver an amazing experience to the end-user.  Ryan shapes the AI experience through maintained instructions, relevant business data, and customer Help content, informed by his experience in marketing and SEO. He has owned and operated Skyfall Digital Media since 2018. As the platform and marketing landscape evolve, those instructions and supporting materials continue to be refined..  The training of the Skynet Intelligence Systems chat bot will never end.  There is always something new in the marketing realm – especially with the constantly changing rules from the major search engines – like Google.

Thank you for taking the time to read this (it was awkward writing it in 3rd person!).

Regards,

–Ryan
